At the same time, Jane was balancing the incredible challenge of being both a mother and a businesswoman. She managed client books and tax returns while also managing school schedules, family routines, and the thousand little tasks that come with raising children. Her ability to juggle motherhood and the growing demands of the business became one of the quiet strengths behind Strojny Financial Services. Her resilience, warmth, and steady presence helped shape the culture of care that clients still feel today.

As word spread and trust grew, their kitchen table could no longer contain what they were building. The home office moved from the kitchen to a spare bedroom, and eventually, in 1986, while their children were still in elementary school, Mike and Jane took a leap of faith and built their very first office in the Petit Bois shopping center in Biloxi. With two computers—an Apple for Mike and an IBM for Jane—both loaded with tax and accounting software from floppy disks, they embraced the newest technology available. Their willingness to innovate quickly accelerated the firm’s growth.

Strojny Financial Services soon became the first tax preparation company on the Mississippi Gulf Coast to electronically file tax returns with the IRS. This milestone reflected the spirit of the business: forward thinking, client focused, and committed to staying ahead for the people they serve.

As the community continued to place their trust in the Strojny name, the firm expanded to several locations along the Gulf Coast. By the summer of 2008, nearly ten years after completing their first Biloxi building, it became clear that more space was needed to match their growth. Construction began on the second phase of the building, representing yet another chapter in their journey.

Over the years, Strojny Financial Services has evolved from a small tax preparation practice into a comprehensive resource for individuals and businesses. The firm now provides tax and accounting services, business consultations, financial planning, investment guidance, and insurance solutions. Their team includes dedicated professionals with more than a century of combined experience working with the Internal Revenue Service and various tax authorities across the country.
